I dok je tako sedeo u sobi, trudeći se da tuga što pre prođe, bio je sve tužniji. Onomad, kada je bio srećan, a sam, sreća se nije množila, nego delila. Neverovatno, koliko su jednostavna pravila prirode. Ako tugu podelimo sa nekim, smanjiće se, ako sreću delimo, udvostručiće se. A opet, mi ljudi, često uvek postupimo suprotno.
